The Rijksvastgoedbedrijf develops the Rijksinspectie Terminal (RIT) on the Maasvlakte. Customs, the Surveillance and Transport Inspectorate (ILT) and the Dutch Food and Safety Authority (NVWA) undertake joint controls and inspections of goods.
